What I Wore Wednesday – Week 8

I started participating in What I Wore Wednesday to become accountable for my attire. I was nervous at first because the thought of taking pictures of myself and posting them online made me uncomfortable. Now, eight weeks later it's one of my favorite features! It challenges me to be more creative with my wardrobe, to take pride in my appearance and to be more thoughtful of what I wear. It also catalogs a few outfits that I can resort to on those days when I can't figure out what to wear!

This week Lindsey from The Pleated Poppy, encouraged those who link up with her to step outside their comfort zone and wear something they typically wouldn't. I chose to dust off my red shoes. I bought these because they were cute but they are outside my comfort zone. I tend to stick to neutrals so these shoes don't get much wear. {Hopefully this will be my last week of cell phone pictures. Our little girl got a hold of our camera and dropped it. The new one is one it's way – can't wait!!} Without further ado.

What I Wore Wednesday to Work

The outfit is actually an Ann Taylor Dress but it's to low cut for work so I added a black cardigan from TJMaxx. Shoes are Jessica Simpson also purchased at TJMaxx. The Rosette Necklace is the DIY project this week.
