Message Board

As previously mentioned, I’m in the process clearing my kitchen corner clutter. Last week, I put together a kitchen cart to conceal the recycling. Now I’m working on creating a functional message center and storage space on the wall. Nothing to exciting yet but I still wanted to share this cute new message board!I saw this on pinterest a while back before I even had a pinterest account. (If you don’t know what Pinterest is read I’m Having Withdrawals and click the TheWeekendHomemaker link at the bottom to learn how to get started but be warned it’s addicting!) The DIY message board is so quick and easy I forgot to take a picture of the steps but I share what I did below.

Materials Needed

  • Frame
  • Scrapbook paper or fabric (I used Reflections Collections scrapbook paper)
  • Dry Erase PenCut the scrapbook paper to fit the size of the frame. Due to the size of my frame, I had to use two pieces of paper so I aligned the pattern so you wouldn’t notice it was two sheets. I used double sided tape between the overlapping pieces of paper.

That’s it! See how easy it is? Just use a dry erase marker and it wipes right off!Stay tuned for more on this small kitchen corner that is taking longer than my entire pantry overhaul!

Neat!!! I would use it mostly for appointments so I know what I am suppose to do THAT DAY and my grocery list. Not sure what you are focusing on as far as messages. Do you get a cookie if you write on the message board??? Sue
