What We Wore – Fall Family Photo Session!!

Yes, I know it’s not Wednesday but I couldn’t help myself!! For those new to the site, I typically post a “What I Wore” entry on Wednesdays. Our photographer posted a few sneak peek photos on her blog and I couldn’t resist re-posting a few here!!!

Our toddler was a little temperamental and her mommy was pouting because she forgot her lipstick {afterall, we get family photos once a year and I forget my lipstick – really!?!}. But all in all I think they turned out well! I can’t wait to see the rest!

Lily was having a meltdown moment. Love this father – daughter shot! {And no, I’m still not convinced she is a spitting image of him.} Although this photo was planned, we did pull out all the stops to prevent her from falling apart. Love the genuine happiness of both kids! Cheesy I know – but I love it!

This family photo tells more about our different personalities than you realize!

Visit The Artful Abode to see all the sneak peek photos or just to tour her cute and fashionable blog.

  2. Adorable! Can’t wait to see more!!

  3. Angela – These turned out awesome! I love them all but I think my two favs are all of you guys walking together in what looks like the Epicenter (its on your photographers site) and the one with Lily in the picture frame. So cute! PS> I bought my first pair of jeggings from Target the other day. I wasn’t sure if they were something I would really wear so I didn’t want to spend a lot. I love them (with a long sweater that covers my butt, of course). You Mossimo jeans made me think of them.

    • Thanks Crystal! I’ve been considering jeggings to avoid the bunching at the knee. Let me know how they work out for you! That may be the push I need to buy them!

  4. Angela- Great pictures with a beautiful family!

  5. I love them all….so natural of you all and especially the smiles. It is a “lean on me” photo opportunity and Lily listens to her very own drummer!! No need for lipstick – you look great and sorry, but yes, Lily does look more and more like Walt!! There …I said it! Sue

  6. SO cute. I think I like the first one best!
And you look lovely sans lipstick.

  7. Thanks Mel and Raven!

  8. very cute family pictures and a good looking family. I love your top it’s super cute.

  9. Great family photos. Great coordinating of the outfits. That is a feat in and of itself! We are getting ready for ours in 3 weeks and I am over thinking everything! Thanks for sharing!

    • Marla, I can understand overthinking it. I’m the same way. I wanted it to all be perfect but it never is. I was still deciding on outfits at 10:30 the night before when it was too late to go and buy anything new. :) Best wishes on your photo-shoot!
