Painting Patio Furniture – Need Advice

With the weather getting warmer and the days longer, I’ve been wanting to freshen up our front porch. Last summer we bought a large outdoor dining table so I was planning on moving our smaller bistro-ish table to the front.

Unfortunately, the weather has done a number on this 6 year old furniture.

It in need of some elbow grease and new paint. While I bought a can of ivory paint, I thought I’d venture out and try something different. I’m on the fence about this decision.

What do you think? Stick with the robin’s egg blue, go back to ivory or try something more vibrant like a yellow, red, blue or darker turquoise?

I appreciate your opinion!

I would totally do a fun color(love the idea of blue or yellow!)!! If it were a table and six chairs I would do ia neutral but being it is a small set it’s an opportunity to do something fun. And if you don’t like it or get tired of it well paint it again!

I love the robin egg blue. I’ll be updating a few pieces of ourdoor furniture too. My pieces aren’t part of a set so I’m going to use color to tie them together. I’m considering a bright apple green! Karen @ itsallgoodhome.com

Thanks everyone for the advice! It looks like the decision may be made for me. I went to get more of the light blue paint and they are all out. I may try a different color on the other chair to compare. I agree with Raven, it will be fun to try something different. I can always repaint it!
