He Turns 11

It's so hard to believe this guy is now 11 years old and that he is soon to be in middle school. What seems to be just a few short years ago he would question every thing. Why this? Why that? Why? Why? Why? and now he is our little know it all that knows what is going to happen before it happens or what is going to be said before it's said.

A little about Jacob at this age.

He loves to skateboard (despite the skateboard accident that gave him this black eye).

He loves all sports.

He says his favorites are basketball and football although he has never played tackle football. He starts this week so we shall see how he feels about it soon.

He has run over ten 5ks. Most of which he does for fun with little to no training.

However, he would play video games all day if we allowed him to.

He loves to listen to music on his iPod. So you can imagine his excitement when he received an iTouch for this year's birthday present.

The current fade he buys into are Nike elite socks that he wears halfway up his calves (even in 100 degree temperatures).

He likes wild, crazy bright tennis shoes.

And he loves his family -ESPECIALLY his little sister and his dog.

but he is warming up to his little brother.

We love you!

Thanks for all those that called, texted and posted birthday wishes for Jacob. He isn't great about responding but he received them all.

Now that we have celebrated Parker's birth, Walt, Lily and Jacob's birthday, we return to our regularly scheduled program of home organization, decorating and DIY projects! More to come this week!

P.S. Don't forget to enroll in the Sponsor Giveaway. You could be the lucky winner of a free year membership to HomeZada.
