Hello and Happy New Year’s Eve! I thought I’d get a ton done while on vacation but my parents decided to surprise us with a last minute visit so we have been enjoying time with them and our family!
We typically do two Christmas cards each year – one for neighbors and friends that are intimately aware of our daily activities and another lengthier write up for family and close friends that we don’t see as often. Our more comprehensive card is a great time to reflect over the year and think about the highlights, accomplishments and milestones. I thought it was also a good time to reflect over the different DIY projects, stories, and posts of this year and countdown the top 10 post this year.

As I watched 2012 highlights on a news channel over the weekend and they were overshadowed with politics and horrific and saddening events. While I pray the families that have lost love ones this year and I hope we never forget the victims of these tradegies, I hope 2013 brings much happiness, joy and peace! I hope your 2012 was memorable and that you jotted down a few great moments to remember as the years pass. Happy New Year!!!
